Ards Friary Retreat and Contemplative Ecology Centre lies on 200 acres of woodland on the shores of idyllic Sheephaven Bay, just 30 kilometres from Letterkenny. The Capuchin Franciscan Friars have lived, worked, studied, and prayed here since the 1930’s. Today Ards is an oasis of peace for those seeking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life for a while.
