Ards Friary Centre for the Care of Creation lies on 200 acres of woodland on the shores of idyllic Sheephaven Bay, just 30 kilometres from Letterkenny. The Capuchin Franciscan Friars have lived, worked, studied, and prayed here since the 1930’s. Today Ards is an oasis of peace for those seeking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life for a while.

Join us for a six-week online Franciscan journey through the Season of Creation, beginning on the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation and concluding on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
Inspired by the wisdom and spirituality of St. Francis, this programme invites you to deepen your relationship with the natural world, discover your place within the web of life, and cultivate hope-filled action in response to today's ecological challenges.
Over 6 weeks we will begin in wonder and walk the path of remembering our own place in Creation and the deep truth of our interconnectedness to all life. Through talks, meditation, prayer, and practice you will be supported in your own journey.
Speakers will include Br Richard Hendrick, Jane Negrych, and Br Ade Green.

A reminder that our Becoming Peacemakers monthly gatherings begin this Saturday at 10am in the Centre for the Care of Creation at Ards Friary.
We will begin with a talk by Br Peter followed by opportunities to creatively express ourselves and share with others.
We will conclude with Mass at 12pm, and Br Ade will lead a Learning Nature's Wisdom walk in the grounds for those that are interested at 1pm.
