The Capuchin Franciscan Friars have lived, worked, studied, and prayed here since the 1930’s. Today Ards is an oasis of peace for those seeking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern life for a while.

In the second week of our Created for Togetherness program we will explore Air and Wind, Breath and Spirit.
'Wind, Breath, Spirit, Life are all archetypal images used within the spiritual traditions to locate us in our relationship with the Divine and the cosmos. In the Christian Tradition we go so far as to teach that breath itself is a sacred encounter with Divine Love, God had breathed us into being and poured out His Spirit as a breath or wind of love. In this session we will see how the breath connects us to creation and to the Creator who is spirit and life.' Br Richard Hendrick - Speaker for our second week.
